Wooden Chassis, Wooden Wheels, Wooden Engine, Wouldn't Go

Ok, so it's an old joke but Ibrahim over at Project.Locost has actually built a wooden prototype chassis to help him identify problems before building the metal version.  Not a bad idea really.
