Caterham Cars today announced the Superlight R400, with 210 bhp 2.0 l FordDuratec engine at its heart.  With a time of 0-60 mph in 3.8 secs, this a worthy successor to a fine lineage of Sevens, stretching back fifty years.

Compared with the outgoing K-series powered car, the Duratec provides 16% more torque at the wheels and even better, it's £1,700 less at £25,995 than the previous model.
