According to the latest press release from KTM, production of the X-Bow has been handed  to Magna Steyr, instead of the expected Dallera.

Stefan Pierer, head of KTM, said, "At Magna Steyr, we will achieve a higher production output appreciably faster.  Furthermore, this decision enables us to simplify the procedure: we have to start up only one manufacturing process."

The original plan was to produce just 500 cars, but with orders for 600 already in, 1000 units per year looks to be the new target.  Delieveries will begin in February 2008.
