There's a story in my local rag, The Belfast Telegraph, about Z Cars who were responsible for the twin-engined Tiger which I think held the the 0-60- record for some time.  For example, the roots of the company are in auto-grass racing and that Minis are their bread-n-butter, as it were.  The 1000bhp Ultima's pretty cool too.
